Company Introduction

Sunten Electric Co. Ltd. (Shunde Special Transformer Works) was set up in 1988. SUNTEN introduced advanced technologies and facilities from overseas into domestic dry-type transformer manufacturing field which was a blank at that time.

After 17 years of developing, SUNTEN becomes one of the biggest dry-type transformer manufacturers of the world. Since 1992, SUNTEN has achieved the biggest domestic sales market share in dry-type transformer. In 2004, SUNTEN provided over 6500MVA dry-type transformers to all kinds of customers.

SUNTEN has been awarded series of honors such as National Torch Project High & New Technology Enterprise, National High & New Technology Enterprise top100, National First Transformer Band, China Information Enterprise top 500, Three Gorges Project Construction Advanced Enterprise, etc.
